The short version
Swim Converter does not require an account or login. Calculator values are processed in your browser and are not saved to a Swim Converter database or associated with an account. If you accept optional analytics, the limited conversion event described below is sent to Google Analytics.
Information we collect today
We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, payment information or other directly identifying information. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only after you accept optional analytics.
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, request time and diagnostic or security events. We do not use that information to build personal profiles.
Calculator inputs
Your entered swim time, stroke, distance, gender table and selected pool courses are processed client-side. We do not retain a database history of conversions, and the calculator does not require an account or persistent user identifier.
If you accept analytics, a completed conversion sends a Google Analytics event containing the source and target course, distance, entered time and converted time. It does not contain your name, email address or other directly identifying information. The calculator is also masked from Microsoft Clarity recordings.
Analytics and product experience
Google Analytics helps us understand traffic, page use and completed conversions. Microsoft Clarity helps us analyze product experience and website interactions through aggregated behavior reports, heatmaps and session recordings. These services may process technical and usage data such as pages visited, visit time, browser or device type, approximate location, IP address and interaction events according to their own privacy practices.
We use this information to understand site traffic, find usability problems and improve the calculator. We do not use it to identify individual swimmers or build advertising profiles.

Cookies and your choices
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity remain off unless you select “Accept analytics.” We store your analytics choice in your browser so the site can remember it. You can review or change that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you withdraw consent after accepting, the page reloads so optional analytics scripts stop running.
Future advertising
Swim Converter does not currently load Google AdSense or place its own advertising cookies. If we add Google AdSense in the future, we will update this policy and provide any consent choices required by applicable law before advertising begins.
When Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to personalize ads. Advertising providers may also use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and related purposes.
